Yesterday was a misty but eventually beautiful summer's day in Cape Town! I spent it with my mom and dad, going to Rhodes Memorial for breakfast. Then we were off to the National Gallery to attend a walk-about given personally by Panchos Guedes. And then had a brief stroll in The Gardens and these red and white painted drums caught my eye. It seemed as though Strijdom van der Merwe might have carefully placed them there... a bit of land art.

Nice views.I love squireels too and sometimes we have such lovely guests in our garden.
Squirrels are so cute. I love them.
I love the bright red and white drums! You've got a good eye to see the art in the ordinary!
PS Of course the bronze bunny still has pride of place. I own lots of "junk", which comes and goes, but very limited original art!
